Dillon is in the Eastern SC Heritage Region which includes the Pee Dee region and coastal South Carolina. Here you can visit farms, racetracks, museums, historical sites, botanical gardens and enjoy the great outdoors. - The 18-hole City of Dillon Municipal Golf is open to the public, and features 6,100 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 67.1, and it has a slope rating of 113. - Dillon Motor Speedway was re-opened in 2007 and continues to grow and improve.

- Dillon County Museum is a quick stop to catch a glimpse of life at the turn of the last century through documents, photographs and memorabilia from a doctor and dentist's office, agricultural and military artifacts.

- Look for the fascinating mural in downtown Dillon which was created by projecting old photographs onto mural panels.
