Sitting right on a 1650's Tuscarora Indian trail which is now a railroad junction, in an old time (circa 1854) general store, this family business roasts and sells peanuts. Virginia has long been known for the exceptional peanuts it produces. For over twenty years, The Good Earth Peanuts Company has been creating delicacies made form the highest quality Virginia/Carolina Peanuts.

Owners, Lindsey and Scott Vincent, go beyond the ordinary nut to sell cashew brittle, wasabi flavored peas, nut berry thrill, diet trail mix, chocolate covered peanut brittle (Sandra's favorite) and maple covered nuts, as well as pecans like key lime ones (we're addicted to the butter toasted pecans in our salads). Sweet treats are amongst over 40 offered (you can taste any): we'll take the dark chocolate covered cherries! Products are packaged in cans, bags, and clear cups, perfect for snacking!

A bit of groceries still line the walls, such as peanut butter, preserves, salad dressings, and Virginia hams. If gift items are what you are looking for in your travels, those can be provided as well. A wide variety of gift baskets, decorative tins, and many other items will help make your trip complete.
