Dillon is in the Eastern SC Heritage Region which includes the Pee Dee region and coastal South Carolina. Here you can visit farms, racetracks, museums, historical sites, botanical gardens and enjoy the great outdoors. - At their new Wellness Center, you can use the 1/2 mi. lighted outdoor walking path which is open 24/7 (and dogs on a leash are welcome), or pay a mere $5 to go inside and use the city of Dillon's 40,000 sq ft indoor sport and fitness complex, with an indoor walking track, volleyball, basketball and free weights room. - Dillon Motor Speedway was re-opened in 2007 and continues to grow and improve.

- Dillon County Museum is a quick stop to catch a glimpse of life at the turn of the last century through documents, photographs and memorabilia from a doctor and dentist's office, agricultural and military artifacts.

- Look for the fascinating mural in downtown Dillon which was created by projecting old photographs onto mural panels.
